thinking Might change ideas

So I've been thinking instead of my original idea that I should just go all out and do what I've always wanted to do and that's open a full restaurant with Spanish food and cocktails with Hispanic desserts , and I wanna go where there is no other Hispanic restaurant around which might be.hard but maybe.not as hard as I think right now I live in Iowa and there aren't many here now so this would be an awesome place to start!!

It’s an interesting idea. The fact that there aren’t any other Mexican places around probably means that the locals may not have been exposed to Mexican food much. That could be a drawback. On the other hand it could end up being a gold mine. It’s a risk but then opening any restaurant is an expensive risk.

Spanish or hispanic? Tapas can be a fantastic restaurant.. one in Portland is the best food I’ve ever eaten. Hispanic food can be excellent or same old same old. people are afraid to get far from the standard taco- burrito-enchiladas. have you thought about starting with a food truck? the initial investment is a lot less and you can go where the business is…

yes.. and that’s a shame. there are such vibrant flavors from the Carribean and Central and South America.. the small plates concept of Tapas really is popular when you can find it.. it gives people a chance to explore more exotic tastes without being too costly. Toro Bravo in Portland. I dream about their food.
